"Before you lead people, lead yourself. Before you give orders, learn how to take them."
Read it backwards. That is the order you earn it.

The title names the destination. The site tells the journey, and the journey runs in reverse.
You earn the right to lead only after you have learned to follow, then learned to manage. That tension is the whole hook.
I followed on the dish line at Gothia Towers, in a Beijer Byggmaterial warehouse, on rotating shifts at a Lantmännen pellet plant, and later in the Swedish Amphibious Corps. I managed across countries and P&Ls. I led a €500M group, a turnaround, and a company I built from zero.
This is not theory. It is my biography turned into a model other people can use.

"Before you lead people, lead yourself. Before you give orders, learn how to take them."

"Management is service with a scoreboard. Your job is to make other people succeed, and to count whether they did."

"Leadership is what is left when the title is gone."
